Birthdays and Memorial Day Weekend
It has been a long time since I wrote last. Markey is growing like a weed. We celebrated her 2nd birthday in style with a lady bug theme. We also purchased an inflatable bouncy house, which was a hit with the kids. Great Grandma Qualey was missing from Markey's birthday party. She passed away in February. To celebrate Great Grandma Qualey's birthday which is also in May. We went to Great Auntie Dawn's and Great Uncle Greg's cabin in Wisconsin over Memorial Day Weekend. There, Markey played with cousin Isaiah and cousins Mason and Sammy. We went fishing and swimming. We also went to Hayward to the candy store. Every kids dream...big or small. We also went on a treasure hunt. We found lipstick, a deer skull, plastic cars. All sorts of treasures. It was nice spending time together as a family at the cabin. We knew it put a smile on Great Grandma's face, since family was so important to her.

Pumpkin Patch
Last weekend mommy, daddy, grandma Stevens, cousin Isaiah, and Markey all went to the pumpking patch in Byron, MN. We got lost in the corn maze, we played on the equipment, and took a wagon ride to the patch to select our pumpkin. When the day was over, everyone was tired!

We spent our second year at the Scofield's cabin over 4th of July weekend. Maddie and Markey were very busy little girls. They went swimming, boating, and played outside. Markey also enjoyed chasing Jess all weekend. I think Jess was glad to see Markey leave, so she could finally rest. Thanks for a great time Scofields!
